Auction Ending/Soft Close: Online Auctions are timed events and all bidding will begin to close at a specified time. There is an auto-extend feature, which means that any bid placed in the final five (5) minutes of an auction will automatically extend the bidding for five (5) minutes from the time the bid was placed. For example, if an auction is scheduled to close at 6:00 and a bid is received at 5:56+, the close time will automatically extend for another 5-minute increment. The auto-extend feature will continue until there is a five (5) minute “quiet” period in which no new bids have been received; at this time the auction will close. Auctioneer reserves the right to reduce the extended period. Multiple lots will close each minute so the auction ending is staggered to allow for this to occur.
Registration requires a valid credit card to confirm your identity. A confirmation that you have at least $100 will be required. WE DO NOT charge for registration. This card will only be charged if you are a winning bidder on any item(s).
Payments are made by Visa, Mastercard and Discover only, unless prior arrangements have been made with the Auctioneer. THERE WILL BE A $25.00 CHARGE ON ALL DECLINED CREDIT CARDS.
All transactions will be charged immediately following the auction using the credit card on file (given at time of registration) UNLESS the invoice is over $2,000.01.
Bidders with invoices over $2,000.01 will be e-mailed wiring instructions. Wires need to be sent within 24 hours after the end of the Auction. If payment is not received, The Swicegood Group, Inc. will attempt to collect by charging the credit card on file for the full amount or any amount less than the purchase price. No item will be released until satisfactory U.S. funds have been received in the Auctioneer's escrow account.
