Biography

T. Kyle Swicegood is a prominent figure in the real estate and auction industry. As the Founder and CEO of the Swicegood Group, Inc., he has built a reputation for his unwavering dedication to his clients and his extensive knowledge of the industry. Kyle's expertise in real estate is reflected in his postgraduate studies at the Commercial Real Estate Institute, where he received his Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation in June 2000.

In 2013, Kyle received the Certified Auctioneer Institute (CAI) designation from Indiana University, a prestigious recognition in the auction industry. This designation attests to his commitment to continuing education and his dedication to professionalism and excellence in the auction profession. Kyle's knowledge and skills are further demonstrated by his Graduate Personal Property Appraiser (GPPA) designation, awarded by the National Auctioneers Association.

With a well-rounded background in commercial, residential, and land brokerage real estate, Kyle has helped clients with diverse assets, ranging from office buildings in Raleigh, NC, beachfront properties, to the classic American Farm. In August 2021, Kyle was appointed by the Governor of North Carolina to serve on the North Carolina Auctioneer Licensing Board, where he will serve a three-year term.

Kyle's expertise in auctioneering has earned him international recognition. He was chosen to speak to the South African Institute of Auctioneers in Johannesburg, where he will be sharing his insights and knowledge on the industry with fellow professionals from around the world in May, 2023

Despite his busy schedule, Kyle values his family above all else. He has been married to his wife Elizabeth since he was 17 years old, and they have two children, Ashton and Lewis. Kyle is a proud grandfather to Braxton Burton, who was born on December 31, 2021. When he is not working hard for his clients, you'll find Kyle enjoying quality time with his family or indulging his passion for fly fishing on the Missouri River in Montana.
