    Mocksville's roots are deep in history and civic responsibilities. The local Davie County Library history room is an excellent resource of community involvement and historical facts. The Town of Mocksville was chartered by the North Carolina General Assembly on January 8, 1839.

    Mocksville has three historic districts that proudly display American flags in honor and thanks to all who have given so much for others on various occasions. The town is proud to be home of the Piedmont Antique Power Association annual tractor parade, in celebration with the Fourth of July fireworks.
