It was just yesterday, October 12, 2020 that our nation celebrated Indigenous Peoples’ Day. This is a day set aside to celebrate and honor the Native American peoples of America, commemorating their unique histories and cultures. So it was in perfect timing that The Swicegood Group proudly showcased and is now offering for online bidding a vast collection from the Estate of William E Lowe, deceased, of Rural Hall, NC of Native American artifacts and articles including, ceremonial arrows, hand drums, walking sticks, peace pipes, dream catchers, flutes, buckskin leather, fine silver and turquoise jewelry and much more. To say that Mr. Lowes’ collection is well representative of Native American cultures would be a fair assessment. The Swicegood Group always strives to give our bidders a quality catalog and bidding experience and to this end, we have uploaded video demonstrating all of the beautiful, hand carved wooden flutes in various musical keys for our bidders. The artistry and craftmanship with which each tribe created each item is truly something to admire. Not only were the items useful but expressions of art and status within the tribal community. If you are someone you know is a student of Native American history or seeks to preserve the tribal ways by collecting quality items such as these, we would invite you to our auction which is now open for bidding on 880 lots at https://bid.theswicegoodgroup.com/ui/auctions/55505
